arriving to the sip and shop event so late in the evening is bound to cause a blogger a panic attack about the chance of the sun going down before shooting a few pics. thankfully, we made it just in time, still catching the golden hour of sun. the scenery was too beautiful and by our instant reaction of snapping away pictures of it all, you would think they never let us out of the city.
we sipped on Prosecco with real hibiscus flower (amazing) for cocktail hour while shopping the new fall collections at Urban Chic Boutique. Then, we had a tasting of Early Mountain Vineyards (the most beautiful winery i actually have ever been to) and other "Best of Virginia" wines, followed by a delicious meal on the back patio while the sun set over the mountains. it was the perfect setting to get inspired for the upcoming fall transition in fashion. i even pulled out this suede mini to embrace this celebration of the season. remember it from last winter? see how i styled it then, here.
you can check out our Facebook Page later today for the rest of the pictures from the Sip + Shop event!
Early Mountain - Erika & I will be back to visit you very soon, and together this time! xx

I love your outfit - it just goes to show you that the best fashion pieces can carry you from season to season and still look fresh when paired with season accessories. I have those shoes too and they are by far one of my favorite pairs of sandals. They look great on you!
