"Casual" and "sequins;" two words that aren't commonly used in the same sentence.
Two words that also describe how I choose to reinvent my favorite Parker dress. You know I had to find a way to wear that dress again this year (and I plan to for the rest of my life for that matter). When The DC Ladies asked me what I would wear to a holiday party, I told them I have been on a more casual dressing kick lately.
So enters a sequin, cable knit sweater layered over top of my sequins frock making up my holiday party styled look. Along with this look, we answered a few questions for The DC Ladies about us, this blog and what our holiday favorites are. So, be sure to check out the full feature and interview here. We also show you how and where to get a similar look for you to re-create for your next holiday soiree.

{What Dress Code?}
I would have never thought to add a comfy sweater to make that dress more casual! Genius!

Love, love, love & love!! Pulled together brilliantly. I think the over the knee are perfect rather than say, knee high. Of course I noticed your Nikita bracelet right away in the first photo! It compliments the dress beautifully! As it also would a simple pair of boyfriend jeans and the sequin sweater. So many fun possibilities! -xo
