Mustard Yellow

One of the best things about being in New York is all of the extra fashion at your fingertips. Thanks to the sweetest team at the Haute Hippie offices, I was able to borrow this suede, fringe jacket from their upcoming collection to wear on the last day of Fashion Week. The time I was in New York, I used to not only attend the runway shows, but to visit showrooms and connect with brands I love on a more personal level. That's why even though I may not be invited to every show, I'm still able to keep a pretty jam-packed schedule and get the most out of NYFW. This was day "I don't even know what day it is anymore," so cue the slip-on sneakers (it was day six) and many Lyft's. I love using Lyft in DC and it was just as great in NYC.

I'm already a sucker for fringe (I wish I was born in the sixties, so I could have grown up in the seventies), but I've been seeing it everywhere it popping up everywhere lately. After a day in this jacket, I grew pretty attached. I'll be sharing more on my visit to the Haute Hippie show room soon, but I also want to relish in my new found love of mustard yellow. It's a color of the moment, per this Balenciaga bag that I've been dying for and the Man Repeller x Superga collaboration. If Leandra's into it, it's cool, right?
