There are certain stores that can influence me to venture outside of my typical go-to style and Free People is one of them. The moment I step inside on of their stores, visit their website, or the catalog arrives in the mail, I suddenly find myself wanting to wear all of the quintessential Free People "things," like turquoise jewelry, floppy hats and, in this case, a chain link belt. I don't buy as many bohemian-style pieces as I used to, as my style has evolved over the years, but I just can't stray away from them entirely. Free People is a brand that easily reels me back in.

I put this look together to wear to the Fall Style party we hosted a few weeks back. These jeans allow me to show just the right amount of ankle cleavage and I finally found my idea of the perfect plaid shirt - More motorcycle rider and less farmer. The jeans fit true to size, but I sized up on the shirt for a more loosely-fitted style.
