As a part of my goal to be more active, I dug my bike out of storage and have been riding again. It's seriously been one of my best decisions yet. It's fun, it's outdoors and it's a good workout, which totally beats going to the gym (shout out to my fourty-dollar/month gym membership that's been money down the drain!), so I've totally become obsessed. It's important to find new things you love in life. Plus, it's given me a reason to buy some new, cute active wear. :)

My recent love of the biking is likely what caught my eye about this tee, but quickly I learned there was so much more to it that I would love even more. The cute design on my pocket was actually hand-drawn by Ruben - The cutest kid I think I've ever seen. Umano's entire mission is centered around "Rock A Pocket," where it's signature "PocketArt" designs are drawn by different kids, like Ruben, from their Partner schools around the world. And, with every pocket sold, Umano provides a backpack filled with school supplies to a child in an impoverished community.

At first I thought I just wanted this tee because, well, I love a great tee, especially a white one, and it looked really soft and had a picture of a bicycle on it and I've been riding bikes a lot lately, so obviously I had to have it. But now, this tee is so much more to me and I'm so proud to wear Ruben's art and help spread the word about Umano's mission. If you can handle the cuteness, check out the rest of the Pocket Artists and their designs here. And, it really is a great tee!
