Target Loves Every Body

I think everyone has moments where they feel like nothing fits right. And I’ve learned the best way to ensure you never have that feeling when getting dressed – Learn your body type and how to shop for it. I remember I used to have the biggest insecurity about not being able to wear certain things that my taller, younger sister Erika could wear, like a fringe bathing suit top that looked great on her longer torso but just had the opposite effect on me. But once you can learn to love what you’ve got and how to dress it in the most flattering way for YOUR body, any frustrations you may have had are quickly forgotten.

A few years ago, one-piece suits really made their comeback as a sexy bathing suit option for all body types. I remember the first time I tried one on, how unexpectedly great I felt in it. And, I’m not at a point where I’m not wanting to be in bikinis anymore or anything, I just love a good one-piece now! There are definitely some sportier ones that don’t do anything for my curvy, petite body, but I know what shape works best for me and so I stick to that.

Target is celebrating every body type this summer with a variety of styles and shapes of suits. There really is something for everyone. I loved the “V” neckline and rouching on this one. When I love the way I feel in something, I want to wear it all of the time, so I wanted to share with you some cool, new ways that you can style your favorite swim suits this summer so that they can take you from the pool, to a lunch date with the girls or even happy hour. In my case, a fun printed one-piece can easily stunt double as a body suit. Wear it under overalls, under a sheer blouse or even just as a top with boyfriend jeans.

  2. I love the way you styled this swimsuit! I never would've thought to pair it with jeans & a sheer top, but you look amazing!
