Someone recently shared something with me that really stuck with me, so I wanted to share it...

It was about the stories that we tell ourselves. These stories can stem from worries and anxieties, or be a result of something that happened to us. But wherever they come from, we seem to allow them to lead us in our relationships and in life. The message was that if you can let go of these stories and realize that they're fictional stories, that you've concocted through assumptions and jumping to conclusions, then you can live a happier, more truthful life. When I heard it I was so intrigued by how simple of a theory it was. And, I do think that, sometimes it's best to just keep things simple. So that's my new goal! Now, I'll leave you with a quote I found:
"Real life passes us by as we fall for powerful fantasies of our own creation."
I hope you have a great weekend! - xx, Natalie
