Last week Erika & I attended the Washington Humane Society's Sugar & Champagne event and Rent The Runway's Georgetown Store was nice enough to dress us for the event. We actually both ended up in rompers (Erika picked this one), that were almost overlooked without the help of our stylist. Rent The Runway had so many gorgeous dress options, but since dogs were welcome at the event, we really had to make sure to pick practical outfits. Being able to play with pups was top priority for the night. So, our stylist Samantha, was so awesome and she even found me the perfect "short girl's romper" that was more suitable for my height (or lack there of!).
I would totally recommend using Rent The Runway for Valentine's Day too. It's a great way to get a really special designer piece to wear for a special occasion, but without the steep price tag. You can order online from a huge selection or, if you're in Washington DC, Las Vegas or New York, you can schedule an appointment to visit a store and work with a stylist on your look. I am a big advocate of trying on, but Rent The Runway takes away the anxiety of ordering online because they offer to send you a second size for free. So don't worry if there's not a store near you.
Also, we have an update on our collaboration with the WHS - Jam Master Jay was adopted! Roscoe and Clive are still available and right now the WHS is offering discounted adoption fees to $14 for Valentine's Day [Note: Roscoe's fee has been waived entirely as he is a "hidden gem"]. These two pups are as sweet as they come, so we hope to help find them both permanent homes soon.
