Meet Jonas Umbrellas' first limited edition clean water umbrella! We're so excited because we have partnered with them to give away one to a TFB reader! Together with Drop in the Bucket, Jonas Umbrellas are committed to building clean water wells at schools in Africa. One well will be built for each 3,000 umbrellas sold and each well provides 1,000 school children and their families with clean-water; pretty amazing.

The first edition umbrella features this adorable, bicycle print, hand designed by Designer Nastassia Groleau and Creative Director Nikol Rainwater. Each 3,000 umbrellas will feature a different design from a different designer and once 3,000 have been sold, the pattern will be discontinued and one clean water well will have been funded. What makes them even more special is that once you receive your limited edition, designer umbrella, you are able to register it's unique number and track the progress of the clean water project through videos, pictures, and on their blog. Jonas Umbrellas is even sending one consumer to visit the well and the people affected, how cool is that?!

There are 10 days left in the first campaign and they have already raised over $9,000 (half of their goal), so use the Rafflecopter below to enter to win your own! The giveaway will end Monday and the winner will be announced Monday morning, leaving you time to still purchase one while you can if you don't win. Pop on over to their website to meet their Founder, shop, read more about their mission or follow their progress. We feel so grateful to be a part of this amazing cause. Clean water is something I think we all probably take advantage of every day, and Jonas Umbrellas not only reminds us of that but allows us to give back. So, thank you all in advance for your support of a brand we truly admire!

California Love

After Coachella, we stayed two nights in LA. We couldn't travel all the way across the country to just leave without staying a while. It was our first time and it was everything we expected, and more. Completely not overrated, but very properly rated in fact, as Erika likes to say. From the weather to the scenery to the food and the scene, LA has stolen a piece of our hearts.

With a Coachella hang-over (please refer to the wrist bands still attached) and having only a few days to see as much as possible, we were on a tight schedule. Shopping on Abbot Kinney was obviously a top priority, so day one was spent walking the strip and finished off with a rooftop dinner overlooking Venice Beach. Venice was such a cool town. There's art every corner you turn, you will most likely walk by a photo shoot or two and the stores are so dreamy that you want to live in them. We could totally see ourselves living there. I was so in awe that I would forget to even take pictures, but here's a few that we managed to get upon freaking out about that view at dinner.

Marked by Music

Hey guys, Erika here, and today we’re talking music on The Fashionably Broke. Natalie asked me to take over this post because as you may or may not know, music is pretty much my boyfriend. We (music and I) have been in a relationship since my ear machines started working and he is always sparking new interests to keep us going. Earlier this month, Natalie and I were lucky enough to attend the one and only Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. This festival topped the charts by bringing together not only my favorite artists, but also my best friends from all over. It was a moment in my life, marked by music, that I will now never forget.

If you've been to any music festival or concert then you get how music can create those specific-detailed memories that stick with you forever. Anytime I hear the songs I saw live at Coachella, I can picture exactly what I was doing and how I felt at that moment. There’s really nothing else that can do that for me. Like in the Yuma tent, during Duke Dumont’s set, I can remember every detail from when he started playing “I Got U.” When I hear that song today, I can immediately picture that moment; From the goose bumps I got, to Natalie’s dance moves and my thoughts of “UGH, sucks for Brad [human boyfriend], he would be in the bathroom when this song comes on” (it’s a favorite of ours). Those particular moments are exactly what make music and attending music festivals so special to me. It’s truly a state of pure happiness, being surrounded by amazing music, bringing everyone together. There’s no place I would rather be!

Pre-Coachella, I made to sure do my research, expand my horizons, and learn about some of the artists I was unfamiliar with. For months (and I mean, months) leading up to the show, every time I got in my car, I turned on a "Coachella 2014" playlist from Spotify. I found an awesome one that listed a few songs from each artist that were on the lineup. I made sure to get a little taste of everyone. I highly recommend doing this to prepare for a big music festival, like Coachella. I added a bunch of new artists to my personal lineup, that I might not have even considered before. I found one of my new favorite DJ’s, Rudimental, and I made sure to get a front row spot at their show and even went to go see them perform again two days later at Sound Nightclub in LA. It was really the perfect ending to my music-filled weekend!

You can check out my Spotify playlist below, it has all of my recent favorites! You can definitely expect to hear some Rudimental, Disclosure, and Duke Dumont. You can also see more from our Coachella adventures here.

Nineties Baby

Topshop Top, Topshop Leggings, Topshop Shoes (all c/o Nordstrom Pentagon City), Erin Dana Fanny Pack c/o, ZeroUV Sunglasses c/o, She's Unique Rings

Erika was actually born in the nineties, can you believe that? The nineties was great for giving me a sister (aw!), Alanis Morissette's "Jagged Little Pill" album and grungy fashion. I love the nineties style Erika's outfit takes on here, from leggings to crop-tops, chunky heels and even a fanny pack. Like I always say, fashion is a circle, and the fact that this entire outfit is fresh off the racks prove it.

We shot this look before Coachella, but sadly didn't have the time to post it before we left. We had been Coachella shopping for weeks and finished off at Topshop at Nordstrom. The British are doing something right, don't you think? Then, just in time, only a few days before leaving for Cali, Erin Dana blew our minds with her chic, Spring '14 collection of fanny packs. She's really a genius in that she put two "packs" on one belt. One perfectly fitting your iPhone and the other your cash, ID and lipstick; All of the essentials. Leaving us hands-free and comfortably chic, Erin Dana, Topshop and Nordstrom were huge hits during our week of living the festival life.

Desert Party - Coachella 2014

Day One // We have arrived. Palm Springs, you win. Ellie Goulding, Martin Garrix and Hot Since 82 (pictured above with Sara) are on the lineup, let's dance!

Day Two // Starting the day off at the Sonos House Party for a little private Diplo show was a great idea, followed by arriving to the festival during Kid Cudi's performance of "Pursuit of Happiness." Later, danced the night away with Jamie Chung at Fatboy Slim in a sandstorm; so Coachella.

Day Three // Popped over to the Lacoste party to see my gal Profesh Style, only leaving so pumped for Lana Del Ray, Disclosure and ended the night with a little #QuackChella (per Duck Sauce).

Bye, Coachella! Thanks for a great time and amazing memories. xx

Oh, did you want more pictures of the Ferris Wheel? Because we have them...
