Last weekend I popped down to Miami for a few days with my friends Sarah & Michelle for the kick-off of Miami Swim Week. It was my first time and I loved it! It's just like New York Fashion Week, except with palm tree backdrops and a lot less clothes, in the best way possible. It was my first time in Miami as well and I loved the upbeat, fun vibe it has. The first thing we did when we got there was head to the infamous Wynwood Walls, where we visited ARTESANO - the maker of my hat.
I can't stop buying bathing suits this summer, I don't know what's got in to me. I feel like if you have a good suit, any insecurities you may have about being in one quickly go out the window. So, yes, I totally advise that you splurge on that fab suit that you've been eyeing! I have a few more new ones to share with you - one being my first Tori Praver suit. Tori Praver was probably one of my favorite shows of Swim Week and Bikini Slayer was having a pop-up at our hotel, so I think it was a great little memento to bring home with me.
This Chloe suit was a miraculous T.J. Maxx find, but Marysia Swim (a California brand) has very similar detailing that I'm obsessed with. Here are some of my favorites:
