A New Sanctuary

The Sanctuary Cosmetic Center is a new project for local plastic surgeon Dr. Soheila Rostami, and I'm so excited to share it with you. You may remember me raving about the chemical peel I received from their Master Aesthetician, Amanda, last year (here).

I had such a great experience with Amanda, so I recently went back to see her for a Fire & Ice Facial. I'm always so busy in the summer, but as skin care has become more and more important to me, I've been making an extra effort to give it the love and attention it needs.

I've had both microdermabrasion, as well as an Oxygen Facial before from Amanda (which were both amazing and I highly recommend), so I wanted to try something new. The Fire & Ice facial is designed to resurface the skin, and minimize fine lines while also deep cleansing blocked pores. This is a great facial to get in the summertime, and it can be used on all skin types.

The new 4,000-square-foot center, which opened May 8 in Tysons Corner, is considered a “medical beauty spa." It's equally as productive as it is relaxing. The ladies at the center are so warm and welcoming and greeted me with a mimosa upon arrival (seen below). Think of it as a salon and spa for your skin, offering surgical and non-surgical treatment.

It's the little details that Dr. Rostami and her team thought of in making Sanctuary Cosmetic Center a real sanctuary. The center is fully equipped with a super cute and relaxing lounge, for before and after your procedure.

Speaking of procedures, the center offers a full range cosmetic services- facelifts, fillers, facials, hair removal, chemical peels, skin tightening, and laser treatments and even nutrition coaching and permanent makeup. I've been noticing the wrinkles on my forehead have been getting worse, so I'm going back soon for a botox consultation too to start preventative maintenance. It's a treatment I've been curious about, so I will be sure to share more about that with you as well (I'm an open book, people!).

Dr. Rostami and the Sanctuary Cosmetic Center have been SO awesome, they have even offered to giveaway a popular treatment - a Vampire Facelift - to one lucky TFB reader. So, read more below about how the Vampire Facelift works, and how to enter to win one!

GIVEAWAY // Vampire Facelift c/o Sanctuary Cosmetic Center

A Vampire Facelift combines a dermal filler of a hyaluronic acid with blood-derived growth factors. After extraction of your blood, it is processed to separate the platelets from other blood components, and the Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is then injected back into various parts of the face. PRP tells your facial cells to grow new, plumper, younger looking skin. The effects of the procedure improve for 2 to 3 months and last for at least 1 to 2 years!
