There's nothing better than watching one of your best friends all dressed up, walking down the isle, to the love of her life. The wedding was in upstate New York and I had never been to that part of the country before, but thanks to Cheralee I was able to experience it in the most romantic way possible. Everything was so green and charming (her wedding was perfect too).

We stayed at an adorable bed & breakfast in Saratoga Springs - Anne's Washington Inn. I attended the wedding sans my usual cute date, but I was able to spend the weekend with great friends. Great friends who also happen to spoil me with these amazing curls (love you Nadine & Winston!).

I found this dress back in April, and had been dying to wear it. I got it as a "maybe" for another wedding in Napa, but I knew I had to save it. This combined plaid meets floral print was perfect for what I imagined my "upstate style" to be like. I'm not a huge floral person (just a tiny floral person, you know?), but add cutouts and a high center slit and you have my full attention. The fabric is actually perfection and the dress held on to me in all of the right places and through decades of music at the reception (I can get a little excited when Disco comes on). The designer is Shony Joy and one that I plan on wearing again. You can shop the brand on Revolve Clothing, which is great for US shoppers - I refuse to pay for shipping, when possible.
