Whether you’re a huge fan of color or not, olive is seriously a color that everyone needs this summer. I’ve been on a very beachy, neutral vibe lately, but I’ve found that olive is still a great neutral to complement the rest of my wardrobe. The best part about it is that it looks good on everyone. It’s an earthy tone that looks great on really any skin tone and pairs well with most every hair color too. I’ve always been a little partial to olive myself. My skin has olive undertones and I have hazel eyes that love it when I wear green. So, I was super excited when I found these great olive pieces at Target. They’re going to be in major rotation all summer long.

Beyond olive colored dresses, nice separates like a pair of olive shorts and airy tee shirts are also great pieces to have to mix and match and create multiple looks with. Even though it’s a darker hue than most would normally associate with a sort of tough “military style,” it’s easily softened up when paired with more feminine colors like pink, purple or orange. I decided to show you two ways that you can wear olive this summer, one casual and one more dressy, since you can also easily dress your olive pieces up.
