Lululemon: Free To Move

You've probably caught onto my obsession with Core Power Yoga & see that I often hit the treadmill or Zumba for a good sweat. So when lululemon invited me in for a personalized fit session to try on their new Enlite Bra, specifically designed for high impact workouts, I jumped (literally!) at the chance. Scroll below to see photos from my personal fit session and their newest bra and leggings in motion.

I was immediately intrigued when I learned that the Enlite Bra, lululemon's latest innovation, was designed to redefine what comfort feels like during a high impact workout. The way it works is with the body, rather than against it. Embracing the body's natural movements, it promises to leave its wearer comfortable and free to move how they want to. #goals

Style, for me, always comes back to feeling good in what you're wearing. That's why, beyond what's trending, details like fit and fabric have become more significant in influencing what clothing I buy. Because it's my belief that when you feel good, you will look great. The same goes for activewear because, if we're being honest here, that's usually when I feel the most uncomfortable. You know that feeling, when you're at the gym or in a workout class and you think everyone is looking at you and judging you. My solution to that is well-fitting workout gear - I might be totally botching those push-ups, but at least my outfit is cute!

Fun Fact: lululemon took their time designing this bra, so you know it's going to be good! It took a team of talented women & over two years!

Since I've found that my sizing varies, usually depending on the brand, I always prefer an in-store try-on rather than buying online. Plus, meeting with a "sizing specialist" sounded glamorous and like I was getting a free friend to shop with - A real win-win!

The Enlite Bra has a really unique feel and look to it. Of course I found it hard to determine which size was right for me all on my own, but my lululemon fit guru was able to easily spot the right one for me. Having a second opinion is so beneficial in cases like these, where you might be in between sizes or are trying out something new.

I couldn't wait to take my new bra for a test run right away! And, just as promised, I felt so supported but not at all constricted. Ah-mazing! The Enlite Bra has already proven to be the best bra I own for running, but I can't wait to put it to the test in my Sculpt class. Sculpt is all about movement, with a combination of yoga, weight-training and high intensity cardio, and I have a feeling the Enlite Bra will soon be on every Sculpt girl in town. Sculpt is a heated class, so being able to take off my bra using clasps rather than trying to slide it over my sweaty body is also priceless to me.

We all deserve to feel comfortable and confident, especially when we're doing something great for our bodies like working out, right? So I really hope you'll give the Enlite Bra a try, I know you will love how you feel in it just as much as I do! Also, if you're worried it's just another black sports bra, it also comes in a light gray and deep purple.
