Get ready for an overload of summer photos! A few weeks ago I put together a small pool party for some of my best girls at The Pearl luxury apartment community in Silver Spring. I don't have a pool at my place and I knew the rooftop pool at The Pearl would be the perfect backdrop to kick summer off right. It was and more! I'm pretty jealous of the residents who live here and get to experience this gorgeous summer setting any time they want! Hopefully The Pearl will have me back soon. :)
I wanted to treat my best friends (Sara, Tammy, Julien & Jess) to a really fun day in the sun so I brought all of the necessities, like pizza & Rosé to name a few. But The Pearl's rooftop was the real star of the show. It felt like we had been whisked away to the most perfect exotic summer vacation. Cozy cabanas, a tanning deck, good music & lounge chairs submerged in the water set the scene. What a day!
I used Minibar's delivery service and ordered a few bottles of my favorite Rosé, Whispering Angel, right to my doorstep. I love anything that saves me a trip to the store! The Rosé showed up within the hour & I quickly whipped up my Rosé Spritzer cocktail (Rosé, soda water & fresh berries).
I have an amazing group of friends & I'm a firm believer in giving back! So I put together, what I like to call, Natalie's Best of Summer Goody Bag, one for each guest. I filled the bag, my new favorite summer carry-all bag (It's perfect for the beach because sand falls right out of it), with all of my summer favorites:

Plenty of drink options are a must on a hot summer day, so I brought a few of my favorite cold-pressed juices from JRINK along with me. They're so refreshing and great for a mid-day boost.
What goes together better than Rosé & pizza? Nothing, of course! & pizza is hands down the best pizza shop in the D.C. area and a sure crowd-pleaser at any event.
