Award Winning Beauty

Erika and I recently attended the #PrettyGlamazon Ocsars Party, hosted by Lara of Pretty Connected and Makeda of Glamazon Diaries, at Eno Wine Bar in Georgetown. The New York, blogger duo gave a presentation of their favorite beauty products while we sipped on some tasty wine from Sterling Vineyards, which was the official wine served at the Oscars (no big deal) and delicious. Lara and Makeda were kind enough to send us each home with a bag full of award-show-worthy products. Since we've now had the chance to try them out, we wanted to share a few of our favorites with you!

As Seen Above: The LeSportSac makeup bag is so sporty chic and is the perfect beach bag insert. / Be Delectable Hand Cream is so soft that it feels more like a powder, plus we love the pretty packaging. / Still Standing Spray numbs your feet so that you can party all night long in your highest heels, every girl needs that! / Aveda Stress Fix Concentrate truly smells like relaxation (and lavender) and is the perfect pocket size to carry on the go. / BAND-AID Friction Block has been our go-to as of lately to relieve the pain from uncomfortable heels or flats. / Neosporin Overnight Renewal Therapy lip balm leaves you waking up with the softest lips. We used this religiously at Coachella. No one likes desert-chapped lips! We will be buying this product for life! / Secret Clinical Strength Deodorant leaves you feeling so soft and fresh, just in time for those hot, Summer days. We are long-time Secret users and this is a new favorite.

Not Pictured: Mario Badescu Glycolic Foaming Cleanser is our favorite facial cleanser and works on almost any skin type. / Borghese Mud Mask is best used periodically on your face and body, leaving your skin feeling clean and nourished. / Skyn Cleansing Cloths are the best make-up remover we have used to date and we love the clean feeling they give you of washing your face without the mess.

Attending events like these, where the bloggers have specially curated a collection of products to try, are so important to us. Most of these were brand new to us and now are a part of our daily, beauty routines.
