Why I Love Charcoal Masks

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Freeman Beauty. All opinions are 100% mine.

I use probably 2-3 face masks a week to target different components of my skin. And I'm constantly rotating products in and out of my regimen. I want to try it all! Masks are an essential part of skin care, in my opinion, along with serums & moisturizers. I use different masks for hydration, color correction, spot treatment, brightening, and pore reduction.

You name it, there seems to be a mask for it. Well, charcoal seems to be all the rage right now on the skin care scene. Your skin is exposed to so many toxins throughout the day and charcoal's claim to fame is clearing out your pores and simultaneously reducing the appearance of them. Scroll below to check out the Beauty Infusion Cleansing Clay Mask Charcoal & Probiotics Clay Mask by Freeman Beauty and why it's currently one of my favorite face masks.

I love the Freeman Beauty Infusion line because the products are so affordable. But I was even more inclined to try Freeman Beauty products because of what's in them. I'm constantly reading ingredient lists, especially when it comes to something I'm putting on my skin. All of the products in their line incorporate natural botanicals, are free of parabens, sulfates, phthalates, and mineral oil, and they do not test on animals.

Since I've been traveling a lot, I've been using the mask two times a week. From airplanes, to big city pollution in LA and New York, my skin surely needs as much detoxing as it can get. This serum-infused Beauty Infusion Cleansing Clay Mask Charcoal & Probiotics instantly clears your pores by drawing out oils and toxins by way of the activated charcoal ingredient. It sounds a bit intrusive, but I can assure you this product is gentle and doesn't over-dry your skin out either. Then, boosted with powerful skin-balancing probiotics, it leaves your skin feeling refreshed and with an overall clearer complexion.

I'm always trying to squeeze in one more mask before heading out on my next travel adventure. It's like hitting the reset button on your skin and I love it! I apply the bulk of the product to my T-Zone (forehead and nose), a bit on my cheeks and on my chin. The best part is you can just sit back and relax, or be super productive, while the mask works it's magic. If you want to give it a try too, you can buy at ULTA or  buy on Amazon.
