Guide To Mosaic

Photos by Julien

The Mosaic District, located in Merrifield Virginia, has quickly become one of my go-to places to shop, eat and meet up with friends. I would often visit the outdoor shopping center to meet up with my best friend to grab some dinner and see a movie or just for a weekend shopping day date. Then ANTHOM opened it's first store there and my trips became a lot more regular... Then a Cava Grill popped up...Then I discovered my love of fig on a pizza at Matchbox... And, you get the gist.

A few weeks ago a few of my blogger besties and I planned a trip to the Mosaic District. Julien shot some beautiful pics, we visited our favorite stores and we just had a super fun girl's day; Julien, Cheralee, Tammy & I. Since I go to Mosaic so often, I wanted to share my guide to the district. The Mosaic District isn't too big, but hopefully this helps you to make the most out of your next trip!

Firstly you're going to want to visit ANTHOM. They've curated a really beautiful collection of women's clothing and accessories, which has introduced me to some of my now favorite brands like Drifter and Glory and Honor. If you're looking for new and unique pieces to add to your wardrobe, they always are good for one (or three). Plus, the store just has really great vibes and super fun sales girls, so it's always a good time.

Then, I would cross the street and go to South Moon Under. Erika & I have shopped at this boutique for years and they carry many of our favorite designers, like Free People and Rebecca Minkoff. They also carry Voluspa candles, which we love.

After these two stores, you'll probably need a refuel from all of the shopping adrenaline, so I usually then pop in to Dolcezza for a soy latte and an almond croissant at this point. FYI - The vibes in here are really cool too and super instagrammable.

The Sophie Blake + Erika Schrieber Pop Up is new to Mosaic, but I they are two local designers that I have really come to love. I especially love Sophie's use of geometry in her jewelry, and you all know how much I love my jewels. You should definitely pay a visit to their cool space.

And lastly, but not least, you should go eat at Cava Grill for a medeteranian style bowl of deliciousness, or if your craving pizza, head to Matchbox and I highly recommend the fig and procutto pie.
