While I've been loving color lately, I always come back to white in the summertime. It feels crisp, light-weight and effortless. Not to mention your skin seems to instantly turn a shade darker when wearing it. Major added bonus. I'm loving how this little white dress is so simple, yet so far from boring. The fabric of the texture is exciting and it doesn't get chicer than an exposed shoulder right now. It's by Red Carter, who also makes some of my favorite swimwear like this reversible one-piece.
In D.C., white parties are sort of a "thing." Thankfully so, there's no shortage of white dresses that I'm loving right now because I just got invited to one! You might remember my partnership with The Pearl earlier this spring - A luxury apartment building in Silver Spring. They hosted me and some of my best girls for a gorgeous brunch, I took over their Instagram & I explored some of the other hot spots in the neighborhood, like Bump 'N Grind, Denizens Brewing Co. & All Set. It was seriously the most fun day!

The Pearl has invited me back for a special evening next Thursday, June 22nd. Inspired by the classic Parisian “Dîner en Blanc,” is Dîner En Pearl - A summer white affair at The Pearl. It's going to be one of the summers chicest events with extraordinary food by chef Mike Isabella & a live cooking experience from Top Chef's George Pagonis, as well as live entertainment. And, trust me, The Pearl is the perfect summer backdrop to relax and enjoy! Their building and courtyard, where the event will take place, are both stunning.
Tickets are $20 and all sales will go towards Strathmore East County Initiative, which connects Montgomery County residents to the arts through affordable, sustainable performing arts programs.
