Dîner en Pearl

I attended one of the best parties last week, Dîner en Pearl. The Dîner En Pearl event was held to celebrate the grand opening of The Pearl luxury apartments in Silver Spring, Maryland. All guests were dressed in their best summer white attire, a dress code that I think should be required everywhere. I wore a white, floor length wrap dress from Born Native and red Céline sandals.

The location was beautiful, centered around The Pearl's Courtyard decorated with white flowers, string lights. Live music from Foreign Air completed the cool atmosphere. Guests sipped on Prosecco and lemon spritzer while enjoying delicate desserts and fresh oysters. Gourmet hors d'oeuvres by Mike Isabella were passed while a live cooking experience from Top Chef star, George Pagonis, took place in the Entertainment Kitchen.

Guests sat in cozy lounge seating in the Outdoor Lounge by the fire or in The Grove at a Tuscan-inspired communal table (with seating for 30) located in the honey locust tree grove. The Pearl staff were the perfect hosts, providing tours of the beautiful views from the rooftop pool. We made it up there just in time to see a candy colored sunset on rooftop terrace overlooking Rock Creek Park and DC. The event was the perfect welcoming to the new luxury apartments!
